ZURAH AND ASHIM:
THE BROTHERS

Little is known about Zurah and Ashim besides what legend tells us.  Indeed, their story is so shrouded in myth that up until 10 BA many doubted that the Brothers had ever existed.  The legends are consistent on remarkably few points, but on these points they are nearly unanimous: the Brothers were fraternal twins, born under no special circumstances and to no special circumstances, and from a very early age expressed a desire to unify and improve the life of all Zo everywhere.  From this grain of unanimity the legends diverge wildly.  Some speak of an expedition mounted by Zurah and Ashim to the mountain castle of Fowr, where they slayed the Great Maker, while others tell of legendary voyages to ancient civilizations and wars with indescribable horrors.
