THE ZORAN COUNCIL

Founded in 2480 BA, the Zoran Council was the first attempt at unifying Zo civilization.  As orignally conceived, each Zo nation held a single seat on the Council, traditionally held by the lawfully selected Primarch of that land.  The Council as a whole was presided over by a member selected by a vote of all members; this seat has no official name, but is generally called the Zor, after Zor Silverthroat, the first after Zurah to hold this position.

Although the Council claimed soveriegn power over all Zo from its inception, the Council lacked all but self-proclaimed power until 2478 BA, when Zrulan, Nyng, Sindal, Niwrek, Kirllannel, and B'do joined Ghorak.
