9 - Battle of Aethry Crossing

Morning, Day 2

During the night Mobius shuffled some of his forces.

He had the Sentinels slowly and quietly ford the Aethry River amongst the shoals were the Brimwon and the Aethry merged.

4C and 4D companies moved onto the rear of a slope further west where they would be hidden from the Darshaks come dawn. The much smaller 4H company would stand where C and D had been the night before.

4A company led their horses thought the trees towards the Darshak rear as dawn approached.

Mobius' plan was thus:

1. He would lure the Darshaks into attacking across the bridge.
2. He would have his infantry hold the Darshak front to limit how many Darshak units could cross.
3. He would have his cavalry and archers attack the Darshak flanks to keep them confined.
4. His Sentinels would attack the Darshak rear and destroy them.
5. He would then cross the Aethry and join up with the rest of his forces further south at Hyrios.(9)
